Carrie’s Crockpot Bacon & Beef Chili

Get ready to tempt your taste buds with our hearty and flavorful Slow Cooker Bacon and Beef Chili! This easy-to-follow recipe combines the savory goodness of browned bacon and ground beef with a medley of beans, tomatoes, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 pound of bacon

  • 1 pound of ground beef

  • 2 cans of black beans

  • 1 can of kidney beans in chili sauce

  • 1 can tomato paste 

  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies 

  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder

  • 2 Tablespoons ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper or cayenne

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground All Spice

Step by step:

  1. Chop 1 large onion

  2. Brown 1 pound of bacon (drain and add to chopped onion)

  3. Brown 1 pound of ground beef

  4. Add 2 cans of black beans (drain out the toot toot water)

  5. Add 1 can of kidney beans in chili sauce

  6. Add 1 can tomato paste 

  7. Add 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies 

  8. Add 2 Tablespoons chili powder

  9. Add 2 Tablespoons ground cumin

  10. Add 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  11. Add 1 teaspoon salt

  12. Add 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper or cayenne

  13. Add 1/2 teaspoon ground All Spice

Drop it all into crockpot, mix, cover, then binge watch your favorite show for 8-10 hours on low setting.
